Cassandra Zappaterreno focuses her practice on business litigation and consulting. From forming new companies and non-profit organizations, to developing best business policies and practices, to resolving company disputes, she can handle all business and contractual issues that require legal attention. Cassandra also represents clients in employment litigation and disputes, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage/hour claims. She often provides employment consulting to help her clients avoid formal claims, and is experienced in conducting investigations to resolve potential claims before they are litigated. Cassandra’s background as a licensed real estate broker gives her the insight to oversee real estate sales and transactions, and when necessary, litigation. She also handles other general civil litigation matters, including wrongful death, personal injury, and insurance bad faith.

Cassandra earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and her juris doctorate at Hasting College of Law in California. She has tried numerous cases to verdict and presented several appeals before the California Court of Appeals. Cassandra is very active in the greater San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles areas, and serves as a Speaker for the International Institute for Paralegal Education.
Cassandra was a varsity member of the UCLA Women’s Soccer Team and she has been inducted into the South Pasadena High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
